The Catholic Committee on Scouting serves under the auspices of Bishop Michael Jarrell, Diocese of Lafayette, LA, who assigns the CCS Chaplain and Associate Chaplain to their duties.
The duties of the Chaplain and Associate Chaplain are to oversee and guide the actions of the Lafayette Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting. They are:
